Autumn chill has sent us back indoors today, the chance to look back to warmer months—and memories of our little apartment on rue Juliette Dodu! This summer we finally concluded the sale of our beloved but too petite home in the Canal Saint Martin neighborhood. It was our neighbors who came together to help us with our move, carrying our furniture and belongings into storage boxes which were trucked away to a warehouse for safe keeping until the renovation of our new apartment concludes at the end of October.
Before we post a recap of our life since the big move, here's a look back at some of the last gatherings we had at the apartment and the summer outings we all enjoyed with our rue Juliette Dodu friends.

Milo enjoyed many outings with his rue Juliette Dodu buddies this summer. He and neighbor Adam had a blast at the fire station open house...
He tried out the firemen's ladder... gulp. Those with a fear of heights may pass over the following!
The sweet building super / guardienne kept the kids full of fruit all summer
Milo built forts at the house with friends Adam and Joah

And hopped on the bus for trips to the park and elsewhere...
We were lucky enough to be around for the birth of Joah's little sister Lula, who arrived just days before our big move.
We handed our keys over to the new owners feeling happy and lucky to have had one last summer living on rue Juliette Dodu.

Thank you so very much for another wonderful update. Your life in Paris is full of family, adventures, and fun....I miss you but know you have landed where you belong. Milo is sweetness....can't wait to see you all. Love, YFAC
