Livia's First Week

More than a week has past since Livia was born. And naturally it's been a week of many firsts.

There were her first visits at the hospital (notably from Grandma / Maminou Françoise)...

First video chats with distant loved ones...

First family portrait...

First birthday party (her mother's!)

Then finally it was time to return home for the first time since Livia's birth.

For her first family dinner...

First bottle on the couch...

First time meeting Milo's animal buddies...

First announcement of her return home to the neighbours...

Her first bottle with her big brother...

First tummy-calming walks with her dad...

First sleep at home...




Her first lazy mornings in bed...

For Milo, a big first was coming up too, his first day of First Grade... We celebrated the last weekend before school with a trip to the zoo, trying out the new obstacle course there and enjoying some 'guy time' with dad.

Back to school...

Meanwhile, each day brings another first for Livia, with so much to learn and see, to contemplate and to savour.
