And suddenly a family of four

Today we became a family of four. After months of expectation, it all happened faster than we'd ever imagined – indeed we were quite taken by surprise!

Livia Marie Iverson was born today, August 29, 2017, around 7:30am, at home. We don't know the exact time, because there was only Perrine, Jeffrey and Livia present for the occasion (and Milo just across the hall waiting expectantly at the neighbours apartment). She was in such a hurry to join us, we hadn't even time to get to the hospital... As she was born, she let out such a cry as to awaken our whole building, assuring mom and dad that she was ready for life, and all would be just fine. The paramedics arrived soon after, to reaffirm Livia's assurances. We spent the rest of the day at Hôpital Trousseau (where Milo was born), where the staff all seem to be impressed with the strength of character of these two ladies, mother and daughter both...
